The Longmont Housing Authority Y2009 PHA Plan
is now available for review.
The Longmont Housing Authority PHA Plan Y2009 may also be viewed at the Longmont Housing Authority office at 1228 Main Street in Longmont, Colorado.
The plan addresses LHA objectives to combat the most critical housing needs of lower income families in Longmont, as identified in the City of Longmont Housing Market and Needs Study. The Annual Plan is consistent with the City of Longmont Consolidated Plan.
LHA staff has reviewed HUD's changes to Section 8 Rental Assistance Programs for fiscal year 2008 and 2009. LHA staff has determined substantial changes in the Administrative Plan are needed to conform to HUD regulation changes. Therefore, LHA staff proposes the following changes and/or additions to the Administrative Plan:
1. Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
2. Limited English Proficiency (LEP)
3. Waiting List Selection - Lottery System
A public hearing was held at 3:30 p.m., on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at 1228 Main Street in Longmont Colordo. At that time the Longmont Housing Authority Board of Commissioners approved the plan.
